Middle School Art Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 12:37PM After learning 12 watercolor techniques, students chose a photo of a landscape to depict using watercolors. Students focused on creating a powerful composition, mixing realistic looking colors and creating appropriate textures with various brushstrokes.

Joshua Follansbee created a depiction of a Hobbit home inspired by the illustrations in a book. He used watercolors and then added moss and felt for more textural interest.
