MFA Trip (Oct 2015)

MFA Trip (Latin, Western Civ II, British Lit)

In what has become something of a tradition, the Latin I tutorial, joined by some from Western Civ II and British Lit, went to the MFA today. Messrs. Boisvert and Drummond guided students and parents around through several galleries, including the ancient Roman and 16th-century European. Students looked for examples of the different uses of sculpture, the oldest coins, and then how later masters made use of light (chiaroscuro) and allegory.

And when we were all done, it was time for burritos at Qdoba down the street!

The Latin tutorial (along with some from Western Civ II and British Lit) spent a couple hours at the MFA today.
