B.A., Cedarville University
M.A., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School
A native New Englander, Clarissa recently relocated to the North Shore after living for 17 years in Chicago and Seattle. Over the last six years, Clarissa taught 25+ courses at a large Seattle-area co-op and loved seeing her students experience their own "aha" moments in the classroom. She enjoys connecting academic work with real life experiences, helping students discover a larger purpose behind their daily schoolwork. Food and hands-on projects make regular appearances in her classes!
Clarissa and her husband count it a joy to homeschool their four children as part of the New Hope community, joining for the first time in fall 2018.
