Forensic Science: “CSI New Hope”

Forensics, like all true scientific inquiry, is a search for truth.  This rapidly expanding field pulls from several disciplines to provide insight into situations such as prosecuting criminal cases, researching events in history, or tracing and predicting the spread of pathogens.  We will be exploring the uses, advantages and limitations of various forensic techniques.  Students will have the opportunity to observe, collect, and analyze various types of samples to gain experience in scientific technique, logic, data collection, and presentation of results and conclusions.
