B.S., Pure Mathematics, Yale University
M.A., Missions & Evangelism, GCTS
Helen discovered her love for math during her middle school and high school years in NYC. She enjoyed being on the math team and has participated in math competitions at the regional, state, and national levels. She likes to help students discover that math can be fun and relevant in the real world.
After moving to Boston for her graduate studies, she met her husband and settled down in the Boston area. Together, they have three children, ages 12, 10, and 3. Helen has been homeschooling her children for the past 7 years. She hopes to raise children who will fulfill their unique callings from God with passion and excellence. Over the years, Helen has also served at her church in various capacities: leader of the prayer ministry, member of the church leadership team, small group leader, women's group leader.
Helen is excited to share her love for math with students at New Hope. She also looks forward to building relationships with her students and their families as we all seek to love and serve God together.
