Middle School Math
(Offered in 2017-18)

Target grade level: 6th and 7th graders. Younger (5th) and older (8th) students admitted at tutor discretion if there are seats available.

This MS Math class provides a great opportunity to join a community of learners that is supportive of different learners and dedicated to excellence. Students will enjoy the instruction of a tutor and the encouragement of peers as they apply their learning together. Through question and answer, group practice, peer teaching and activities, math confidence will grow! Parents will benefit from the support of a structured schedule, a tutor committed to the individual growth of the students, and mathematical content that is aligned with Massachusetts standards. This course serves as the foundational building block to higher level Mathematics at New Hope, providing the skills needed to advance further in future years.

Before admittance, students will be asked to take an entrance exam to ensure this class is the best fit for their academic needs and progress.
