Tuition and Fees

For Fall 2011-2012: 

Registration Fee of $225 for year-long tutorials is due and payable at time of registration and is nonrefundable. Workshops Registration Fee: $25-$100 (varies according to workshop).

Course fee: All tutorials have a small course fee associated with them to cover basic overhead costs such as photocopying for the year. Unless otherwise noted, each tutorial's course fee is $20 (for the year). Lab science and art tutorials are a bit higher; see specific tutorial pages.

Tutorial costs vary based on the number of hours per week the tutorial meets. Each tutorial also has an additional course fee to cover extra materials, copies, etc.

One tutorial, meeting two days per week for 90 minutes each day:

(example: British Literature or Chemistry)

  • $1475.00 per year or $147.50 per month for 10 months (Sept-June)

One tutorial, meeting one day per week for 90 minutes each day:

(example: Public Speaking, HS Art, or Middle School History)

  • $740.00 per year or $74.00 per for 10 months (Sept-June)

Middle School Literature, meeting one day per week 2.5 hours:

(this is the only tutorial meeting one day per week for 2.5 hours total)

  • $1230.00 per year or $123.00 per month for 10 months (Sept-June)

Mini-tutorials for 6th & 7th graders, meeting one day a week for 90 minutes over 12 weeks

(example: Mini in Writing or Mini in Art)

  • $250.00 ($245 plus $5.00 course fee)

Registration fee/deposits:

  • $225.00 non-refundable for all full-year tutorials ($100 toward tutorial cost for September)
  • between $25 and $100 for workshops and Minis (see each individual offering for deposits

  • Physics, Biology $55 (an additional lab fee four times per year will be incurred)
