Workshops: Fall 2018

 Workshops are a great way to explore New Hope - no registration fee required! (Current families: you can register for any of our workshops using your online Parent Portal.  Look for the 2018-19 registration link at the very top of the page.)

The following are now available for registration online.  New families:please call our Registrar at (978) 965-8601 to sign up your child(ren).  Please spread the word among your homeschool support groups and friends!  Contact each tutor directly for a full description and/or syllabus.

*Writing with the Masters II" begins TUES Sept 11 - open for registration now!
Ages 8 to 11.  Taught by Christina Wassell.  
Start date: Tues Sept 11 for six weeks; 8:30 to 9:45 am.
Cost per student / 10 seats total. 
A great way to get your younger child excited about writing!  Great introduction before full year of MS Literature and Writing in grades 6 and 7.
 

"Multiplication Mania" begins TUES Sept 11 - open for registration now!
Taught by Brooke Baker.
Start date: Tues Sept 11 for six weeks; 1:30 to 3:00 pm each week.
Cost per student / 10 seats total.
This is an excellent brush-up workshop to hone your skills before moving on to the next session of math at home!  Fun way to keep math facts fresh in mind.
 

*Sewing w/ Machine for ages 9 and up. Taught by Tracy Walsh.
Continues in fall 2018 (Mondays only) for 8-10 weeks per session.  New students always welcome on a rolling-admission basis!  
Start date: Mon Sept 10  for 8-10 weeks; 9:00 to 10:30am each week.
Cost per student / 8 seats total.
Looking for experienced sewers and beginners alike to join us!  Must have own machine; we can store a few machines here onsite. Flexible project planning for each student by ability/wishes.
 

*Tang Soo Do Karate for all ages/all abilities.  Taught by Andrew O'Brien.
Resumes on Tues Sept 11 for eight weeks per session. 
Meets during 3rd block  (11:50am to 1:20pm) each week.
New students always welcome on a rolling-admission basis!
Cost per student / 14 maximum students.
