Financial Planning for Youth / FREE
Coming back in fall 2019! 3 Saturdays — October/November 2019
Pre-registration is required

Before your high-schooler heads off to college or a first-time job, wouldn’t you like them to know more about how to manage their own finances? This FREE program is designed to help high school students (and others) learn about making informed and effective decisions regarding their finances through educational and experiential opportunities. Commitment: just three Saturday morning classroom sessions, 90 minutes each. If possible, we may also plan a mock trial presentation in U.S. Bankruptcy Court later this spring. Topics include:
Personal Finance & Budgeting (including balancing a checkbook!)
Using Credit & Credit Cards
Financing a Large Purchase (such as a car, furniture, apartment or tuition)
Consequences of Poor Financial Management

Taught by New Hope parent Alex Mattera / bankruptcy lawyer. Please contact our Registrar at (978) 965-8601 to sign up your son/daughter.
