Target Students: 6th and 7th graders (ages 11 and 12)
Instruction Time: One 90-minute tutorial per week

Travel the continents to learn the history and culture of historically-significant regions. In this course we'll delve into "the/His-story" of the world from the fall of Rome to the present day.  We'll spend most of our time on Europe, but also take a look at China, India, Japan, and Africa. Students will learn how to take notes and master details for successful test-taking tasks. Critical thinking and small research projects will hone students’ study and writing skills to prepare them for high school-level historical study. Where relevant, current events will be researched and discussed, with an eye to developing sound Christian discernment skills.
