The Young Inventors Workshop is designed to prepare young students for a future in the 21st century! This program is a project-based curriculcum providing dynamic hands-on robotic projects using the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education NXT kits. Students will work in groups of two and will be challenged with real world engineering problems. Students are introduced to the Engineering Model and will be taught how to apply this model to problems they encounter in their lives today.

Students will be immersed in an innovative curriculum that introduces the use of LEGO Robotics within the context of historical inventions and real-world engineering applications. This program is designed around the national standards checklist for: Math, Science, Technology, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Fine Arts. This course is chock-full of handouts and activities.
